After Germany, the USA is the most important market for EMUGE-FRANKEN. That’s why I was especially pleased to welcome my colleague Kent Hohensee from EMUGE-FRANKEN USA to our headquarters this week – a tradition he has maintained for now 10 years!
Kent works closely with machine tool manufacturers and technology partners in the US. His visit is always a great opportunity to exchange insights on market trends, technological innovations, and real-world customer applications. This time, our key topics included:
- Machining solutions for battery-electric and hybrid mobility
- Latest developments in the US industry
- Technology partnerships for future-proof manufacturing solutions
Of course, we also discussed the current geopolitical landscape and the relationship between Europe and the US. One thing stood out to me: despite global challenges, strong personal relationships and trust remain the foundation of our collaboration. In the end, it’s not just markets or corporations that build partnerships – it’s people.
And what’s a visit to Franconia without a good beer? Kent is a big fan of the famous Bamberger Rauchbier – a regional specialty you have to try at least once!
